Getting started · Saving
Do I need to sign up?
No. Just install the game and start with "New epic". We don't ask for your name or email.
How do I save my progress?
Save to one of 3 slots at the Tablet house in the town of Uruk. Buying something in a shop automatically saves to the slot you used last, and so does tapping "Main menu" in Settings.
Can I continue if I change phones or delete the app?
Saves are stored only on your device and can't be moved to another device. Deleting the app also deletes your progress. The "Uruk starter bundle" can be recovered on the same store account via Temple treasury → History → Restore purchases.
How do I choose the difficulty?
Choose Easy, Normal or Hard when you start a "New epic". It can't be changed mid-game. Hard unlocks after you reach an ending on Normal, and some set equipment is sold only on Hard.
Battle
I defeated the enemy commander, but the battle didn't end.
After defeating the commander, you still need to defeat all remaining enemies to win. Soldiers who have lost their commander will charge at you right away. You can check the victory conditions on the battle start screen and under Menu → Objective.
How do the controls work?
Tap a hero to select them, tap the tile to move to, then choose Attack, Oracle, Item or Wait from the menu. Spread or pinch two fingers to zoom the map in or out, and long-press an enemy to see its attack range. Tap the ally list on the left to jump straight to that hero.
The battles are too hard.
Buy equipment at the Market in the town of Uruk, and craft and enhance set equipment at the Smithy. If you lose a battle, you can choose "Return to town" to prepare and then try again. Choosing Easy when you start a new game makes enemies weaker.
My priest only has a few oracles.
A priest's oracles unlock one at a time as they level up (Lv5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25). You can see the next oracle to unlock on the hero details screen.

How do I earn shekels?
From the funds you receive each chapter, from spoils when you win a battle based on how many enemies you defeated (+25% if no hero retreated), and by selling items you don't use at the Market.
What happens if enhancement fails?
Only the Enhancement scroll is used up; the enhancement level stays the same. The higher the level, the lower the success rate (+9 → +10 is 10%), and the rate is shown on the enhancement screen.
I can't equip set equipment.
Set equipment has a required level (e.g. Lv5, 10, 12, 16, 20). If your hero's level is too low, the equipment list shows "Requires Lv○".
Purchases · Refunds
I paid, but my lapis didn't arrive.
Fully close the game and restart it while connected to the internet, and delivery will be retried. If it still doesn't show up, please contact us with your order number.
I'd like a refund.
On Android, request it from your Google Play order history; on iPhone, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you haven't used any of the lapis you bought, you can withdraw from the purchase within 7 days of buying it (Terms of Service, Article 4).
Are there ads or randomized items (gacha)?
No. Every product is delivered exactly as described.
Settings
I want to change the language, sound or battle speed.
In Settings on the title screen or in town, you can change the language (한국어 · English · 日本語 · Deutsch · Français · العربية), music and sound effect volume, battle speed, and battle cut-ins and oracle scenes.
