TERAGAMEZ ("we", "us") respects the privacy of everyone who uses PDFCAT (the "App") and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws. This policy explains what information the App handles and where that information stays.
At a glance
- We do not collect any personal information. The App has no sign-up, no sign-in and no servers of ours.
- Your PDFs never leave your device. The App has no way to upload files.
- AI summaries run on your device only. Document content is never sent to a server to be summarized.
- No ads, no tracking. We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA / Advertising ID), analytics or crash reports, and do not ask for iOS tracking permission (ATT).
- Purchases are processed by the App Store and Google Play. We never receive your payment details.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect, transmit or store any personal information — no name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers or usage data. The App does not communicate with any server operated by us.
2. Information stored only on your device
To work, the App stores the following only on your device. None of it is sent to us or anyone else, and all of it is removed when you delete the App.

PDF passwords are not saved by default. Only when you choose to save one is it kept in the device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android encrypted storage) — never in plain text.
3. AI summaries
- AI summaries run only on the AI built into your device — Apple Intelligence (Foundation Models) on iOS, and Google ML Kit GenAI (Gemini Nano, AICore) on Android.
- Document content never leaves your device when summarizing. The App has no fallback that sends content to a server; on devices without on-device AI the feature is simply unavailable.
- On Android, if the AI model is not yet on the device, it may be downloaded once. The download is handled by the operating system (Google Play services / AICore), and your documents are not sent during it. The operating system's AI features are governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies (Apple · Google).
4. Sharing and other apps
- When you share a summary, only the summary bullets and the file name go to the app you choose (messenger, mail, etc.). The document text is not included, and what happens next is governed by that app's policy.
- When another app hands a PDF to PDFCAT ("Open with"), the App copies the file within your device and opens it. The file does not leave your device.
5. Permissions
The App does not request runtime permissions (photos, location, contacts, camera, microphone, etc.). It only opens files you pick in the system file picker or that another app hands to it directly.
6. Payments
Purchases of the App are processed by the App Store and Google Play. We do not receive your card number, other payment details or your identity; purchase information is handled by Apple Inc. and Google LLC under their own privacy policies.
7. Third parties, processors and international transfers
Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing we share with or sell to third parties, no processors we entrust with personal information, and no international transfers.
8. Automatic collection
The App uses no cookies, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or crash-reporting tools.
9. Your rights
Since we hold no personal information about you, there is no data on our side to access, correct or delete. You can remove the information stored on your device at any time using the methods in section 2 or by deleting the App. Questions about your rights under the GDPR (EU/UK residents) or the CCPA/CPRA (California residents) are welcome at the contact below. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
10. Children
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

12. Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page at least 7 days before it takes effect. If a change materially affects your rights — for example, if the App were to start collecting personal information — we will post it 30 days in advance and also notify you in the App.
