Frequently asked questions
Gameplay
I hit the note on time but got GOOD or MISS.
This is usually audio latency, which differs from device to device. In Settings (⚙) → SYNC CALIBRATION, tap along with a tick sound a few times; the Game takes the median of your taps and lines up the judgement clock. Wireless earphones add a lot of latency, so calibrate again if you switch earphones. The timing graph on the result screen and the EARLY / LATE label next to GOOD show whether you are early or late.
Why do I fail in the middle of a song?
Every missed judgement drains ENERGY, and the run ends when it reaches zero. Keeping your combo going makes each PERFECT restore ENERGY (from a 10 combo on EASY, 20 on NORMAL, 30 on HARD and EXTREME). If a song is too hard, learn it on a lower difficulty first.
What is FEVER?
At a 50 combo FEVER kicks in and your score doubles. A single MISS ends it.
EXTREME is locked.
EXTREME unlocks once you clear the same song on HARD.
When should I release a hold note?
Keep holding until the trail ends. Letting go just before the end still counts as a success (HOLD OK). Letting go too early is a BREAK and resets your combo.
How do I pause?
Tap the pause button in the top-right corner (or the Back button on Android). The Game also pauses automatically when you switch to another app, and resumes after a 3-second countdown. To quit the song, tap BACK TO MENU on the pause screen.
I want to see the tutorial again.
Go to Settings (⚙) → REPLAY TUTORIAL.
Points & store songs
How do I earn Points?
Clearing a song earns Points based on difficulty and grade, with a bonus the first time you clear each song and difficulty. Even a failed run earns a few Points if you got at least 30% through the song. You get 1,500 Points on first launch.
Can I buy Points with money?
No. The Game has no paid purchases and no ads. Songs are unlocked only with Points earned by playing.
The store is empty or shows "offline".
The store song list is loaded over the internet. Check your connection and open the STORE tab again. Without a connection, the Game shows the last list it downloaded. Downloaded songs and the built-in songs play without an internet connection.
A song download failed. Will I be charged Points again?
No. Ownership is recorded on your device the moment you spend the Points, so downloading the song again costs nothing. Check your connection and download the same song again. Only files that pass verification are installed.
A song shows an update badge.
It means the song's chart or files were improved. Download it from the UPDATES shelf in the STORE — it costs no Points and your records are kept.
Saves & devices
Do I need to sign in?
No. There is no account and no sign-in. You can play as soon as you install.
Can I move my records or songs to a new phone?
Not at the moment. All data lives only on your device and we keep no copy on our servers. Restoring a new device from a whole-device backup (iCloud or Android backup) may bring it along.
I reinstalled the app and everything is gone.
Uninstalling deletes your records, Points and downloaded songs from the device, and they cannot be restored.
I want to erase my records.
Tap Settings (⚙) → RESET ALL RECORDS twice to erase your records, play history and RP. Your Points and downloaded songs are kept.
The sound is too loud or too quiet.
Adjust MUSIC VOLUME and SFX VOLUME separately in Settings (⚙). Songs are played at a normalised loudness, but some difference remains depending on the original track.
Can I play with a PC keyboard?
On PC, the D · F · J · K keys hit the four lanes and ESC pauses.
The Game is slow or I found a bug.
Fully close the app and reopen it, and check that you have the latest version from the store. If the problem continues, email us your device, app version, the song and what happened.
