1. Purpose
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the mobile game Nansérok (亂世錄) and related services (the "Service") provided by TERAGAMEZ ("we", "us"), and the rights and obligations of us and our players.
2. Effect and changes
- These Terms apply to everyone who installs and runs the Game.
- We may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law. We will post changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to you).
- If you do not agree to the changes, you may stop using the Service and delete your account. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the changes.
3. Accounts
- You can play the Game without an account. Cloud save/load and in-app purchases are available only after signing in with Apple or Google.
- Points, items and cloud saves are tied to the account you signed in with. Signing in with a different method (e.g. Google instead of Apple) creates a separate account, and we do not transfer data between accounts.
- You are responsible for managing your own Apple or Google account. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to do so.
- Campaigns played without signing in, and your hall of greats, achievements and weekly-challenge records, are stored only on your device and cannot be recovered if you uninstall the app or change devices.
4. The Service
- The Game is free to download and contains no advertising. Some convenience features can be used with paid points.
- We may change the content of the Service (game balance, character and portrait content, product lineup, etc.) for operational or technical reasons.
- Server features (sign-in, cloud saves, purchases, content updates) may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages or network problems. The core Game can still be played offline.
- If we end the Service, we will announce it in the Game or on this site at least 30 days in advance.
5. Paid points and items
- You can buy points (P) in the app through App Store or Google Play billing, and use points to obtain items such as extra save slots, the custom-lord charter, war funds, grain and troops. Each product's contents and price are shown on the purchase screen.
- The Game has no randomized items (loot boxes or gacha). Every item is delivered exactly as described.
- For game balance, consumable items such as war funds, grain and troops can be used up to 3 times per category per campaign, and cannot be used in weekly-challenge campaigns.
- Points and items are digital content usable only inside the Game. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred or sold to other accounts or people.
- Points and items are kept for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, any remaining points and items are lost and will not be restored or refunded.
6. Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel a purchase of points within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any of them. Once points have been used, even partly, or exchanged for items, cancellation is restricted under Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
- Because payments are processed by the App Store and Google Play, refunds follow each store's procedures and policies (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com / Google Play: request a refund from your order history). If you have trouble, please contact Support.
- When a store issues a refund, we take back the points granted for that payment. If you have already spent them, the shortfall is deducted first from points you buy later.
- If a minor made a payment without a legal guardian's consent, the minor or guardian may cancel it as provided by applicable law.
- If you cannot use purchased points or items because of our fault, we will re-grant them or refund you.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not do any of the following. If you do, we may take back points or items or restrict your use of the Service.
- Tampering with the game client, server or save data, or obtaining points or items by abnormal means
- Abusing the payment system, such as repeatedly requesting unjustified refunds after spending
- Deliberately exploiting bugs or errors (please report them to Support instead)
- Interfering with the operation of the Service or putting excessive load on our servers
- Reverse-engineering, copying or redistributing the Game, or infringing our intellectual property
- Any other conduct that violates the law or public order
8. Intellectual property and content notice
- Rights to the Game's software, design, text, portraits and other content belong to us or their rightful owners. Some icons, music and fonts are open-license materials; their sources are listed in the Game under Settings → Credits.
- The Game is an alternate history using a fictional era. All historical figures who appear are long deceased, and the story, chronology and the figures' abilities and deeds are fiction, not fact. Fictional characters in the Game have no connection with real people.
9. Account deletion
You can delete your account and data at any time inside the Game or as described on the Delete Account page. Deleted data, points and items cannot be recovered.
10. Limitation of liability
- We are not liable for interruptions that occur without our intent or negligence, such as natural disasters or outages at telecom carriers, cloud providers or app stores.
- We are not liable for loss of data stored on your device caused by reasons attributable to you, such as losing or replacing your device or uninstalling the app.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the free portions of the Service, except for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are first to be resolved through Support; if that fails, they will be settled by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Where the consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you greater protection, those laws prevail.
